WHERE IS IT?!

The most pressing question of our time! Unfortunately, Paradiso is about six months late at the moment. Truthfully, as I was editing the first draft of Paradiso, I realized that there was something about the flow of events in the story that wasn't sitting right with me, and it was only recently that I discovered WHY. The good news? I know how to fix it. The bad news? I have to rewrite quite a few scenes.
Editing has been a slog, largely because of the gap between when I have the ability to write. Each session, I have to take quite some time to re-immerse myself into the world and figure out where I left off. It has been of no help that the word count on Paradiso is nearly twice that of Dierock 88, something I hadn't intended!
The silver-lining is that I am quite sure once I am finished with the current scene changes and additions, I will be ready to reach out for a development edit. THEN, the real editing phase will begin, as I lick my wounds and adjust the story to the feedback I will badly be needing.
All in all, Paradiso could easily be three months away from release, and I am working hard to stay on track (for once).
My next post, I will go into detail about what you can expect in Paradiso-- from POVs, to pacing, events, and more! I truly believe this sequel will take the series to a whole different level and I can't wait to share it with readers.
PARADISO WH-Oh cool. I'm glad it's going well! Also, I still need to watch the other 2 Bateman bale movies lol
